Remodel Process

Remodeling can be a frightening adventure.  From deciding to take the plunge, choosing minute details and acquiring financing, the idea of remodeling your home may seem too large to consider. 

While undertaking a home transformation is not for the faint of heart, at New Spaces Denver, we have tried to take the sting out of the process.

Initial Consultation

Our first meeting is an informal meet and greet that typically takes place in your home, or where your project will take place.  At this meeting, we go through example paperwork, show our before and after portfolio, and discuss your vision and budget.  At New Spaces Denver, we like to design to your budget, not make you reach beyond it.

Design Agreement

Once all parties are ready to move on to the design phase, a Design Agreement is drawn up between you and New Spaces Denver.  The Design Agreement enables our designers to measure your home and transform it into your dream, on paper.  Cabinets are sourced, granite chosen, and other finish items selected.  We want to be sure that we are staying in budget at every phase.

Construction Agreement

After we have all gone back and forth, deciding the design, the cabinetry, the lighting and other remodeling minutiae, it is time to begin construction.  At this time, cabinets are ordered, schedules are made and subcontractors are put on alert.  Time to break ground!

New Spaces Denver is focused on client comfort and satisfaction.  While remodeling your home is upsetting to your routine and can often be littered with unforeseen obstacles, our process is one that makes this time of your life as predictable as possible.  Constant communication between your dedicated on-site project foreman, you, subcontactors, designers and office staff keeps your project on track and within budget.  Weekly schedule updates and statements keep you abreast of what is going on when, by whom, and for how much.

Project Completion

After the dust has settled, literally, a final punch list is done.  Paperwork and receipts are gathered and a final invoice, if necessary, is completed.  Your home is finished, it looks fabulous, and everyone is happy.

Afterwards

You can't get rid of us that easily!  New Spaces Denver warranties all of its work, and that of their subcontractors, for two years.  Call us if you have a problem, need something tweaked, or have any questions.
